Your work from early 2024 is fantastic Finn. Enjoying reading your blog. I never did social media until just over a year ago. I was persuaded to join Instagram where I keep a daily diary. At the moment I'm enjoying it but it's the only one I'm on and I can see how it could take you over as you try to keep up with comments etc.
Beautiful images Finn. Sublimely ethereal snow, magical murmurations and that first photo from March… Worrying but stunning. I hope you’ve printed that one.
Thank you Michela. Yes, of all the pictures here, that one is the one that is currently being framed and will be up in the gallery first thing next year.
These pictures are just astonishing Finn. The January ones are of one of my childhood playgrounds, so familiar and yet at the same time made strange by the framing and foreshortened perspective. February is also of a frequent childhood haunt but from an angle I didn’t attempt as I was never a particularly strong swimmer. It’s great to see the starlings are still there in abundance too. The March pictures are the most unfamiliar, I certainly don’t recall ever seeing the Sussex countryside under that much water. But having just experienced the worst flooding of our lower fields that not only we’ve ever seen, but that our 77 year old born and bred neighbour has too, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I look forward to seeing more of 2024 through your eyes and wish you all the best for the coming year. 🤠
A beautiful set of images Finn. The starling shots are stunning and I love the quietness of the snow and flood images. I look forward to seeing the next instalment.
The photos are lovely, but I suspect you've just been waiting for an excuse to use "Fin stagram" !
This is very accurate.
A beautiful set of images from the first quarter Finn, looking forward to seeing the remainder of 2024. Particularly like the first flooding image.
Thank you Lin.
Beautiful sets. Just beautiful.
Thanks!

Thanks Peter. Yes it can get a bit too much, and creates a sense that you must engage with it all the time to keep up. Slower suits me better I think.
Lovely photographs! Looking forward to seeing more.
Thank you Søren, much appreciated.

Love the flooded trees - especially the second here in this post - and really happy to follow you here instead of Instagram.
Thanks so much Tim, really appreciate it.

Thank you so much Dave. I like the idea of showing people familiar places in an unfamiliar way. Wishing you a happy 2025!
Oooh.. these are fabulous!
A lovely set
